100th Day of School Happenings!!

Good morning, Blog Hoppin' Buddies! Kerri here from Teacher Bits and Bobs!

Is your 100th day of school coming up? Our actually isn't until February 13th (Yes, you read that right! The day BEFORE Valentine's Day. Oh joy! Two nutty days in a row!), but I have already been thinking about it and wanted to share some of the 100th Day of School Shenanigans that took place in my classroom last year.
First of all, we sent home a letter asking our kids to dress up like they were 100 years old, and OH. MY WORD. The results were HILARIOUS!!

I mean, honestly, how ADORABLE and completely silly are they?? This was the absolute favorite part of my day!!

We also ordered these 100th Day of School Necklaces from Oriental Trading Company (these are AMAZING!) and the kids had such a blast stringing 100 beads and wearing their necklaces home. I used to use fruit loops and yarn, but what a NIGHTMARE that was. Sticky, crumbly fruit loops and yarn that was constantly unraveling! These necklaces are way EASY PEASY and so darn cute!! Only $7.50 for a dozen of them, and if you go in with your grade level you can get free shipping! YAY!

Here are some more pics of my kidlets doing some other fun 100th day activities....

100 year old portraits. This adorable paper is from Rachelle at What the Teacher Wants and can be found here. LOVE IT!!
And...guess who came to visit our classroom?? Zero the Hero himself! HA!
I know, right? How cute is he? He's actually our Tech guy and what a great sport he was! (but I think Zero the Hero forgot to shave! oops!!)

In order to honor this sacred holiday (We DO consider the 100th Day a holiday, right??), I made my 100 Days of Fun Learning Activities Pack...

This pack includes a veritable smorgasbord of 100th Day of School activities for you and your kidlets to enjoy! So many, in fact, that I plan on doing them the entire week, and calling it "100 Week!" Math activities, literacy and writing activities, parent letters, certificates, this pack has it all!

Here's a little sneak peek and what's included...

You can check this pack out by clicking on the picture below!

So, when is YOUR 100th day? Do you also consider it the most sacred of Kinder and First Grade holidays? What do you do for fun on the 100th day?

Have a great day, friends!

XOXO Kerri B
